STOMPer Schaefer says Singapore has its very own cherry blossoms -- known as the white and pink lily blossoms.

He says:

"It does happen here every two years in the Jurong Industrial Estate area --they are known as Singapore lily-white-pink blossom.

"You can only see them for one week before they dry up in three weeks' time.

"It makes for a good memory and beauty, as Singaporeans enjoy viewing the flowers for a short time every 2 to 3 years, sometime 5 years."
