In response to STOMPer Welt's complaint that nothing has been done about the pigeon population problem despite feedback, Marine Parade Town Council has put up circulars and posters to educate residents against littering and feeding pigeons.
The town council said in a response via email:
"We refer to the article posted on STOMP.
"Our Town Council has put up circulars and posters to educate residents against littering and feeding pigeons out of their windows.
"We would like to take this opportunity to remind residents not to litter or feed the pigeons irresponsibly.
"We will continue to work with the relevant agencies and will not hesitate to take action against those who are found littering.
"Should members of the public wish to provide further feedback or suggestions, they may contact us at 1800-241-6487."
