This lizard is so hungry that it's munching on a rubber band
STOMPer Lawrence spotted this lizard with a rubber band in its mouth.

The STOMPer quipped:

"Hungry lizard."

This lizard is so hungry that it's munching on a rubber band

There's so many possible questions to explore, like what could motivate a house gecko (F. Gekkonidae) to bite a rubber band, or the possible harmful effects of attempting to feed on rubber bands. Did the gecko mistake the rubber band for food? Is it really motivated by hunger to attempt to feed on something inedible? Is it fulfilling some nutritional deficiency? So many potential avenues for further research and investigation, wasted just like that.
