After NEA check, petrol kiosk still leaking sewage into Bishan canal?

After NEA check, petrol kiosk still leaking sewage into Bishan canal?

The canal at Bishan Park is being polluted again, even after the NEA made a check following the initial report by STOMPer Tan on STOMP, who said that the canal stinks.

The NEA check revealed that the smell was caused by a sewage leak from a petrol station. The NEA had assured the STOMPer after their check that the water no longer smelled pungent.

However, in a subsequent email sent in to STOMP by STOMPer Tan yesterday (July 5), he said that the canal is being polluted again, by what seemed to be chemical discharge of some sort.

The STOMPer is not sure if this is due to another sewage leak from the petrol kiosk.
