STOMPer Elayaraja saw this dead python near Kallang River today (July 11). He wondered if it had been killed by someone.
Said the STOMPer:
"Today I saw this snake near Kallang River near Kallang Way 2.
"I thought somebody killed this python because its head was smashed.
"It measured about three metres."
Another record of a reticulated python (Broghammerus reticulatus) in urban Singapore, albeit one that's probably more suited for Monday Morgue. Unlike another recent sighting of a dead snake, there is no way of knowing if this python had been deliberately killed by a person.
