Storm sends Science Centre ceiling boards crashing

Storm sends Science Centre ceiling boards crashing
There was chaos at the Singapore Science Centre yesterday (Mar 15) as a huge storm uprooted trees and brought down ceiling boards.

A STOMPer, who was at the Science Centre, said:

"Here is a video and some pictures I took at the Singapore Science Centre.

"We went to see the airplane challenge. It was raining very heavily when we reached, so we went into the Science Centre to take shelter.

"The rain was so heavy that it caused part of the ceiling board next to the cafe to fall.

"Thank god no one was hurt, though many were totally drenched!

"As we were leaving Singapore Science Centre, we saw a tree outside the carpark totally uprooted!

"The roads were flooded and many trees had fallen.

"What a horrible stormy day it was!"
