A STOMPer was at the McDonald's outlet at Queensway this afternoon (Mar 21) and saw a few fallen trees at the carpark. She says that this tree fell over two cars, completely wrecking one.
Earlier on, another STOMPer had sent in her pictures of the same incident.
She says:
"This happened around 3 plus this afternoon.
"During the storm, quite a few trees fell, but this one hit two cars.
"I was in McDonald's, and saw a customer coming in to tell people that a tree had fallen and hit the cars. I think no one knew because of the raging storm.
"We called the police and they arrived around 4 plus. They soon barricaded the area.
"It's an unforseeable event, out of human control."
