Yellow substance in Seletar waterway could endanger aquatic life

Yellow substance in Seletar waterway could endanger aquatic life
A STOMPer is concerned about Seletar’s aquatic life, after noticing that the waterway there is filled with some sort of yellow substance.

In an MMS to STOMP today (Mar 18), the STOMPer says:

"The waterway in Seletar seems to be filled with some sort of yellow substance. It's probably silt. This must be due to all the new developments happening there.

"I took this picture yesterday, but I notice that this has been happening for quite some time.

"Something needs to be done soon, if not all the fish will die.

"I'm also afraid that some of this yellow silt would go into the Seletar Reservoir."
